PNN – The Iraqi Independent High Election Commission announced that the final results of the parliamentary elections will likely be announced next week.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Iraq’s Wa’a News Agency, Jumana Al-Ghalai, spokesperson for the High Commissioner, said: The commission is processing data from polling stations that have not yet submitted their results. The results from these centers will be entered into the vote aggregation and counting center, where they will be prepared for the announcement of official and final results after final calculations.

She added: This process is proceeding simultaneously with the handling of election complaints.
Al-Ghalai clarified: The final results will be announced after the complaints are processed, and it is likely to happen next week. The official announcement of the results will be made by the decision of the Council of Commissioners.
According to the spokesperson, all decisions of the Council of Commissioners can be appealed to the Electoral Judicial Board within three days of their publication on the official website of the commission. After the appeals process is completed – which takes 7 working days for the commission and 10 days for the judicial board – the electoral process is completely concluded.
