PNN – The former president of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai, in a message to the government officials of this country, once again called for the reopening of girls’ schools.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network in Kabul, Karzai, in a note that he published on the X channel, reminded the Afghan government officials to allow Afghan girls to return to school and university in order to avoid the need for foreigners.
Referring to the three-year deprivation of Afghan girls from education, Karzai wrote: “Unfortunately, for nearly three years, girls in the country have been deprived of education and cannot go to schools and universities, learn science, and thus serve their families and country.”
Hamid Karzai had previously requested many times from the authorities of the caretaker government of Afghanistan to take action in the field of ensuring girls’ right to education in the country.
