Khaled Qaddumi: Disarming Gaza is totally unrealistic.

Khaled Qaddumi, the representative of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Iran, said that the idea of resistance and solidarity with the people of Gaza is the reason for their victory against Israel.

He emphasized that the idea of resistance, its fighters, and the patience and support of the people of Gaza have brought this movement to the international level. He clarified that Hamas does not aim for war, but when the security of the people is threatened, war is a logical and historical means of defense.

Qaddumi rejected Hamas’s disarmament, calling it illogical, and introduced the future of Gaza as a bright and Palestinian future, without the presence of Israel in Gaza and the occupied territories. He said that we must approach negotiations with an open mind and heart, and the goal should be to improve the crisis and resolve humanitarian issues for the benefit of the Gazan community.

He referred to the Doha talks, where the enemy undermined trust by attacking the leaders of the resistance. He added that the main question is whether the enemy is serious about the negotiations. This responsibility is not only the responsibility of Hamas, but also a joint regional and global task.

Hamas has fulfilled its duties and accepted the necessary agreements, but some of the eight countries that met with Trump have said that the final document differs from the promised agreement.

He emphasized that the continuation of the path is now up to the Arab and Islamic countries, the United Nations, and world powers.

Qaddumi also said that since the first day of the war, we have been calling for an end to the war and a ceasefire. We have given more than 66,000 martyrs and sacrifices so that the world understands that this war must end. The conditions of the agreement include stopping the massacre, the withdrawal of regime forces from the Gaza Strip, the opening of the crossings, the entry of humanitarian aid, and the start of reconstruction.
