Dmitry Peskov told Russian journalists on Sunday: The level of [Moscow-Washington] relations is at zero or even below zero. But since both the United States and Russia have a special responsibility for global and strategic stability, we must somehow and at the right time resume the talks.

Anatoly Antonov, the Russian ambassador to America, said earlier: Washington has brought the relations between the two countries to a dead end with its reckless policies.
Stating that the United States continues to try for a direct conflict between the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and Russia, he said: “Washington continuously follows the policy of limiting bilateral relations.”
In response to Russia’s attack on Ukraine, America, and Western countries have imposed extensive sanctions against Moscow and sent billions of dollars of weapons and military equipment to Kyiv.
The United States also provided Ukraine with cluster bombs, depleted uranium munitions, and Abrams tanks.
