PNN – In its first reaction to the US President’s recent statements about reducing the 50-day deadline for Russia to reach an agreement with Ukraine, the Kremlin announced that Russia’s special military operations will continue.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Izvestia, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov reacted to US President Donald Trump’s statement that he had reduced the 50-day deadline for Russia to resolve the Ukrainian war and reach an agreement with Ukraine.

Peskov, noting that Russia monitored Trump’s remarks yesterday, stressed: Russia’s special military operations will continue. Moscow remains committed to the peace process to resolve the war and to ensuring that Russia’s interests are guaranteed during the negotiations.

Trump said yesterday that he was cutting the 50-day deadline he had given Russia to resolve the Ukraine war to 10 to 12 days. He claimed that the previous deadline was “generous” but that he had seen no progress in the negotiations and the ceasefire agreement.
