Labor protests against the “Jolani” regime sweep Syria.

Labor protests against the “Jolani” regime sweep Syria.

According to Al Jazeera, yesterday, various regions of Syria witnessed labor protests. Participants in these protests demanded the cancellation of decisions taken to dismiss workers in government sectors.

As part of the so-called restructuring of government institutions, the terrorist regime of Golani has dismissed thousands of employees from these institutions and has given others compulsory three-month leave.

Last February, the “Democratic Change” labor association announced the formation of coordination committees in several Syrian provinces to unite protests against the terrorist regime of Golani. These protests are against the non-renewal of contracts, the dismissal of workers and employees, and long compulsory leave.

This is while Golani had promised to increase workers’ salaries by 400 percent when he overthrew the Bashar al-Assad regime and seized power in Syria. The United Nations had previously warned of the spread of the bread crisis in Syria and the lack of flour in the country.
