Lapid: Netanyahu is leading Israel into disaster and inflicting defeat after defeat.

Yair Lapid, the head of the Zionist opposition, continued his harsh attacks on the occupation regime’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for prolonging the war of attrition in Gaza and inflicting increasing casualties on the Zionists, declaring that Netanyahu’s cabinet has led Israel to a political disaster.

Reacting to the continuation of the war in Gaza and the failure of the ceasefire negotiations, Yair Lapid said: “This cabinet has led us to a political disaster and is inflicting defeat after defeat. The current Israeli cabinet has a prime minister who is absent from the political scene, a useless foreign minister who refers to (Gideon Sa’ar), and other ministers who endanger the IDF forces every time they open their mouths.”

Last May, Yair Lapid warned against reoccupying the Gaza Strip and considered the Israeli army’s sinking into the Gaza quagmire a strategic mistake, saying: “The Israeli army will continue its operations in Gaza, but the cabinet has not yet determined what its strategy is.”
