Lapid: Netanyahu must abandon fear of Yemenis.
According to Al Jazeera, Yair Lapid, the head of the opposition parties in the Israeli cabinet, said in response to the Yemeni forces’ missile attack on Ben Gurion Airport: “Israel cannot sit back and watch as the Houthi missile attack causes a mass catastrophe or paralyzes its economy.”
He also said: “Netanyahu must put aside fear and waste of time and intensify attacks on the Houthi infrastructure and missile launch pads.”
Lapid emphasized: “Netanyahu must expand cyber attacks on Yemen’s vital infrastructure and organizations to disrupt the country’s electricity, water, ports, and airports. There are various ways to inflict heavy damage on Yemen, and all we need is an active government and a prime minister who is not afraid of his own shadow.”
“Avigdor Lieberman, a member of the Israeli Knesset and former Minister of War, said in response to the Yemeni forces’ missile attack on Ben Gurion Airport: “It is unbelievable that millions of Israelis are fleeing to shelters one year and seven months after the war.”
These statements by the Israeli authorities come at a time when the spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces announced in a video statement that these forces targeted Ben Gurion Airport with a hypersonic ballistic missile and Tel Aviv with a Jaffa drone.
