Larijani blames US-Zionist plot for ongoing conflict.
Ali Larijani met with a group of heads of leading Pakistani think tanks and regional and international peace and security theorists at a ceremony at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad.
Conveying the greetings of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran to the people of Pakistan, he said: “The nation that supported Iran responsibly in this recent cruel war of the Zionist regime against Iran has shown that it has a solid mind.” He also thanked the government, parliament, and armed forces of Pakistan.
Larijani added, “The basis of our cooperation with Pakistan in the past and present is cultural affinities, and we also enjoy intellectual unity in the political sphere. We consider Pakistan a friendly, companion, neighboring, and co-cultural country, and the Persian language is one of the factors that bring the two nations closer together.”
Referring to Pakistan’s support during the imposed eight-year war, he said: “Pakistan’s justice-seeking stance at that time was a great help to us, and the recent 12-day war also brought various lessons.”
Larijani stated: “It was the will of the Iranian nation that showed itself in this war. The Israeli regime, which thought it would defeat Iran, was completely disappointed.”
He added: “The determination of the leadership and the will of the Iranian nation triumphed over the enemy’s weapons and aggression. The civilizational history of the Iranian nation is the secret of our heroic struggle and victory. Iran has been, is, and will be for thousands of years. This was the foolish idea of the aggressor enemy who thought that he could break Iran with war.”
Larijani said: “This war was the result of an American-Israeli conspiracy that had been planned for years. Trump also recently announced that they had been practicing since 2003 to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities with their planes. But it was the main power of God that prevented this invasion.”
He added: “Iran had powerful missiles, and it penetrated Israel’s fake security. There were also some shortcomings that we are trying to solve.”
Israel’s internal crisis and the erosion of the Zionist regime’s prestige
The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, referring to the current situation of the Zionist regime, said: “This regime is now facing erosion of its prestige and has never faced such a challenge on the international level. The Zionists have suffered a kind of internal chaos and complexity, and statistics also show that there is a disorder in their existence in the future. Their power posture in the region has never had depth.”
