PNN – The Largest Global Student Support Network for Palestine (GSPN) was launched in New York City.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing “Araby 21” news site, this network includes hundreds of student teams from different universities in the world, including America, Europe, Africa and a number of Arab and Islamic countries.
Previously, student activists, student organizations and unions supporting Palestine tried to establish and launch the “Global Student Support Network for Palestine” (GSPN) in response to the growing international movement in support of Palestine and in order to stop the Zionist regime’s genocidal war against residents of Gaza and the attempt to boycott the investment of the Israeli regime in the universities had reported.
On the occasion of its launch, this network announced in a statement that it provides a safe and reliable platform for student activists to exchange strategies and share experiences and promote global cooperation, and is a vital source of support for pro-Palestinian student activists.
The network also seeks to equip pro-Palestinian students, especially those in remote or isolated communities, with the tools, support and knowledge needed to implement effective strategies and increase their influence in their communities, the statement said.
This network asked the universities to confront the actions of the Israeli occupation regime and support the students’ right to protest, and to end all relations with the educational and research institutions of the Israeli regime and withdraw from investments in all Israeli companies and companies that support the Israeli regime.
This network also asked all student activists, organizations and allies to join this movement, which at this stage of history is an important part of the global justice movement and at the forefront of global solidarity with the Palestinian people.
