In his opinion, Washington’s efforts to create a monopoly in the Middle East (conflict) settlement process (between the Zionist regime and the Palestinians) have led to the current disastrous situation.

During a speech in the capital of Belarus, the Russian Foreign Minister also warned about the positions and actions of Western countries towards the Eurasian region.

“Given the destructive line of the West to undermine the sustainable development of Eurasia, its lack of readiness for fair competition and joint work, the task of forming a new continental architecture with equal and indivisible security is more urgent than ever,” Lavrov said.

Praising the role of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in holding the Eurasian Security Conference, the Russian Foreign Minister said that one of the main goals is to connect Eurasia to a unified space to face common challenges in the name of peace and well-being of its entire people.

The statements of Moscow’s senior diplomat about the current situation in the West Asian region were made in a situation where the Russian president had previously said that the war between the Zionist regime and the Palestinians represents the failure of the United States of America’s policy in West Asia.

In his meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad al-Sudani in the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin said: “Unfortunately, we are witnessing the severe deterioration of the situation in the Middle East. I think many will agree with me that this is a clear example of the failure of the US policy in the Middle East, which tried to monopolize an agreement but unfortunately did not worry about finding an agreement acceptable to both sides.
