Lavrov: After the Cold War, the West decided to determine the fate of humanity.
In his speech at the UN General Assembly, the Russian Foreign Minister said that the West decided to determine the fate of humanity after the Cold War.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Wednesday that after the Cold War, the West decided to decide the fate of humanity, which led to global instability.
Speaking at the UN General Assembly, he added: “The West, led by America, selectively resorts to norms and laws.”
Continuing his speech, Lavrov referred to the war in Ukraine and said: “Kyiv leaders encourage activities that deprive Russian speakers of the use of their language.”
The Russian Foreign Minister added: “Last year, all the signatories of the Minsk agreement, with the exception of President Putin, had no intention of implementing this document.”
He added: “The Kiev regime banned everything related to Russian education and culture and destroyed Russian works and books.
Lavrov said: “The West never investigated the root of this crisis, and Western countries claim that they did not understand the meaning of the Minsk agreement and ignored it, and as a result, the West is responsible for the current crisis.”
