Leader of Resistance from the Perspective of English-Speaking Users of “X”: Nasrallah is the Idea and the Goal

Leader of Resistance from the Perspective of X Users: Nasrallah is the Idea and the Goal.

After five months of waiting, the bodies of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din, the two martyred Secretaries-General of the Lebanese Resistance Movement, were finally laid to rest in recent days amidst a flood of mourners.

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who took over the responsibility of Secretary-General of Hezbollah in 1991 following the assassination of Sayyed Abbas Mousavi, held this position until his martyrdom in Mehr 1403. After the assassination of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (Friday, 26 Mehr 1403) in the southern suburbs of Beirut by Zionist regime fighter jets, this resistance organization elected Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din as Secretary-General, who was also targeted in a similar attack a few days later (13 Mehr 1403) and was martyred.

About five months after the martyrdom of the two Hezbollah secretaries-general, with the establishment of a ceasefire in Lebanon, coordination, preparations, and construction of a tomb, their magnificent funeral ceremony was held on Sunday, March 25, at the Beirut Stadium. The master of martyrs rested in his tomb in the southern suburbs that same day, and the body of martyr Safi al-Din was transferred from Beirut to his birthplace, “Deir al-Qanun,” and buried there the next day.

This grand and magnificent event has been at the forefront of the world’s media in recent days, and English-speaking users of social networks such as “X” (formerly Twitter) paid special attention to it.

“Fiorella Isabel,” an American media activist who was also present at the ceremony, posted a clip of herself on X, writing that more than a million people attended the ceremony. All of Beirut was closed to attend the funeral and mourning ceremony of this influential person, and the Zionist regime was unable to destroy the spirit of resistance.
