Leader of the revolution: America and Israel will receive a crushing response.
This morning, in a meeting with thousands of students, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution explained the fundamental reasons for the Iranian nation’s struggle against the oppression and excesses of the United States for at least 70 years and emphasized: The Islamic, national, rational, wise, and humane confrontation of the Iranian nation with the arrogance of the United States, which is by international laws, will continue with the correct roadmap and without negligence or delay. On this victorious path, the Zionist regime and the United States will receive a crushing response to any action against the Iranian nation.
At the beginning of his speech, referring to a suggestion by one of the students on how to confront arrogance, Ayatollah Khamenei said: Everyone should know that in this struggle, every necessary military, weapons, and political action will be taken to prepare the Iranian nation, and the officials are currently engaged in such work.
He added: The overall movement of the nation and officials in confronting global arrogance and the criminal system that governs the current global order is a logical movement that is in line with religion, Islamic law, ethics, and international laws, and the nation and officials will not hesitate or fail in this regard.
The Leader of the Revolution called the Iranian nation’s struggle against arrogance a permanent, ongoing matter that is part of the nation’s life, and said that naming a day as the National Day of Struggle Against Global Arrogance is actually to ensure that this historic struggle is not forgotten; especially since there are hands at work that cast doubt on the nation’s courageous and conscious movement to stand up and fight America and its agents in the region and then deny this confrontation.
Referring to the efforts of some to cast doubt on the legitimacy of the issue of capturing the spy nest, he said: Some say that the US embassy, like the embassies of all countries, was a place of diplomatic movements and information gathering; so why was it captured?
Rejecting this suspicion, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized: The US embassy in Tehran, as the documents obtained from it confirm, was a planning headquarters for inciting and organizing the counter-revolution and the scum of the Shah’s SAVAK, creating discord, inciting ethnicities, a coup, threatening the life of Imam Khomeini (RA) and destroying the revolution. This fact will not change even if some of the perpetrators of that incident have doubts.
The Leader of the Revolution considered the documents discovered in the spy den to be very important and enlightening, adding: Young people should study the books of the nest’s documents and other documents to become more aware of the truth of the US embassy’s transformation into a center of networking and conspiracy against the revolution.
He called the capture of the spy den a turning point and a historic and unforgettable event due to the clarification of the true nature of the US embassy and added: This was why the Imam approved the students’ movement with that penetrating vision.
In response to a fundamental question about the reason for the Iranian nation’s struggle against global arrogance, Ayatollah Khamenei said: “Without a doubt, this confrontation was the result of the American government’s cruel and shameless domination of our beloved nation, Iran.”
Referring to some deviant historians who call the capture of the spy den the starting point of the confrontation between the Iranian nation and the United States, he added: “This is a lie, and this confrontation dates back to at least 1332 Mordad (1953), because on that date, the Americans, betraying the naive trust of the Mossadegh government, overthrew that national and popular government with a bloody coup and re-established the oppressive rule of the Shah.”
The Leader of the Revolution advised the youth to study the adventures of the national movement and the Mordad 1332 coup, and researchers to produce works in this field, adding: “These are turning points in the history of the Iranian nation and they must be explained well.”
He listed the creation of SAVAK and the training of its interrogators in horrific torture methods, the presence of tens of thousands of American freeloaders to interfere in the affairs of the army and government, and influence and espionage as other anti-Iranian actions by the Americans, and said: All of these actions were taken to humiliate the nation and dominate Iran.
Referring to the assistance provided by the evil Pahlavi regime to the Zionist regime, the Leader of the Revolution added: Pahlavi, guided by America and providing oil and other support, strengthened the usurper regime in an unforgettable betrayal; and this while most governments in the region had severed relations with the Zionist regime.
He said: Unfortunately, even today, some governments, ignoring the very heinous crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza and Lebanon, provide economic and even military assistance to this bloodthirsty enemy.
The Leader of the Revolution called the Iranian nation’s confrontation with arrogance based on the teachings of Islam and a duty, adding: “Confronting the economic, military, cultural, and humiliating domination of global bullies will continue.” The Leader of the Revolution did not consider the doubts of some people regarding the possibility of confronting an advanced, strong, and dominant system like the United States to be correct, considering the successful experience of the Iranian nation over the past 46 years, and said: “The Iranian nation has succeeded in this struggle to this day, and one sign of that is its ability to weaken the power of the United States, which used to frighten nations with its awe and terror and force them to retreat.”
