PNN – The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said in the meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan: Mr. Raisi’s recent visit to Pakistan can be a turning point in the relations between the two countries and they will follow up the path of cooperation and agreements.
Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, during the meeting with Mr. “Shahbaz Sharif”, the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the accompanying delegation, while sincerely thanking the government and nation of Pakistan for their sympathy, said: For the Islamic Republic of Iran, relations with Pakistan are very important, and it views this country as a brotherly country, but the relations between the two countries have been accompanied by ups and downs in the past years, and we believe that there is a possibility of a resurgence of these relations in the new government of Pakistan.
Referring to the emphasis of the late President Mr. Raisi on the importance of relations with Pakistan, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution added: Mr. Raisi’s recent visit to Pakistan can be a turning point in the relations between the two countries, and Dr. Mokhbar will follow the path of cooperation and agreements.
Ayatollah Khamenei noted: friendly relations between brotherly countries are not always easy, and obstacles must be overcome and the progress of cooperation should be followed seriously and in practice.
Mr. “Shahbaz Sharif”, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, also considered Mr. Raisi’s recent visit to Pakistan very useful and laid the groundwork for further expansion of relations and future roadmap, and expressed his hope that relations will be improved in various fields.
