PNN – Lebanese MP Ali Ammar stated that the Ukrainian embassy in Beirut is sheltering an Israeli spy inside its premises and is trying to facilitate his departure from the country, despite the fact that arrest warrants have been issued against the individual.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing RT, in a dangerous security and political development, Ammar, a member of the parliament’s Foreign Relations Committee and the “Loyalty to the Resistance” faction, accused the Ukrainian embassy in Lebanon of harboring an Israeli spy affiliated with the Mossad in its premises and trying to facilitate his departure from the country. This action comes at a time when, according to him, arrest warrants have been issued against the individual for involvement in terrorist acts on Lebanese soil.
The Lebanese MP emphasized in a press statement that the Ukrainian Embassy in Lebanon’s action was to shelter a criminal and Mossad spy in the embassy and to try to secure his departure from Lebanon, even despite prior knowledge that this individual was under Lebanese judicial investigation for his direct involvement in planning and carrying out terrorist operations against Lebanon, as well as his leadership role in running an espionage network in the war with Israel in 2024. The spy’s main task was to transmit sensitive security information and identify Hezbollah facilities in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Ammar described this action as “a dangerous approach and a political and diplomatic scandal on a grand scale,” and said that this act was a clear disregard for Lebanese sovereignty and a desecration of the blood of the Lebanese and their national security.
The role of the spy and his connection with Mossad
The Lebanese MP stated that this spy, who works for Mossad, has helped the enemy in its aggression against the Lebanese, their land, homeland, and national security, and for this reason is considered a “blood partner of the Lebanese.” Therefore, any attempt to support this spy, to help him escape, or to provide him with diplomatic cover is considered a hostile act against Lebanon and its people and is a clear challenge to the Lebanese security and military apparatus, but rather a form of collusion and direct cooperation with the Israeli enemy against Lebanon and its people.
Ammar called on the Lebanese government, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, and the relevant security and judicial agencies, to take immediate and immediate action to prevent the escape of this spy, given the ongoing Israeli and American aggression against Lebanon. He also called for all necessary legal measures to be taken to oblige the Ukrainian embassy to hand him over to the Lebanese judiciary, stressing that he should not succumb to any blackmail or pressure from any source; this action is in line with appreciation and respect for the innocent blood that has been and is being shed by the Israeli enemy and its agents.
