PNN – The Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament emphasized in a statement that we will not surrender our weapons until the enemy fulfills its obligations.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, on Lebanon’s Al-Nour Radio, Nabih Berri said: Our weapon is a trump card that we will not give up without a complete implementation of the ceasefire and talks about the fate of this weapon.
He welcomed and expressed his satisfaction with the intended dialogue between President Joseph Aoun (Lebanese) and Hezbollah, as well as his calculated comments and explanation of the meaning of his words about Hezbollah.
Berri added: But it is also important to put pressure on the enemy to fulfill its obligations under the ceasefire agreement.

He said: We have fulfilled all our commitments and there is no doubt about that, but the Zionist enemy has not fulfilled its commitments and this is America’s responsibility.
The Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament said: Lebanon had two commitments in the ceasefire agreement, which included the deployment of the army in the south and the withdrawal of Hezbollah to the south of the Litani River, both of which have been fulfilled and not a single shot has been fired since then.
Berri added: The enemy has not fulfilled its commitments, which are a complete ceasefire and a complete withdrawal from Lebanese territory, but has increased its aggressions and attacks.
The Zionist regime began its aggression against Lebanon on October 1, 2024, and two months later, with American mediation, signed a ceasefire on Wednesday, December 7.
Accordingly, the Israeli military was supposed to withdraw from southern Lebanon within 60 days, but the Israeli regime, contrary to international law, kept its forces in five strategic locations in southern Lebanon and did not leave the area. Since the signing of the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli regime has repeatedly violated this ceasefire.
