PNN – The Lebanese parliamentarian emphasized that instead of examining the issue of disarming the resistance, the country’s government should examine how to fight the Zionist enemy.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by Russia Al-Youm, Lebanese parliamentarian Hassan Fadlallah emphasized: The US representative came to Lebanon to say that the purpose of strengthening the country’s army is to confront a group of Lebanese citizens. Instead of examining the arms monopoly, the government should have examined how to combat the Zionist regime’s aggression against Lebanon, protect the country’s citizens, and arm the army against the enemy.

He added: The resistance does not attach importance to the arms monopoly clause because this issue and the disbandment of the militia forces were resolved 35 years ago. The resistance remained because it acts in line with the principle of liberating the land from the occupiers based on the Taif Agreement and the approvals of previous governments since 1990.
Fadlallah emphasized: The resistance will remain and no one can ever tarnish its position or target its weapons.
