Lebanese Scholar: Banning anti-Zionist slogans during Hajj shows solidarity with the enemy.
Condemning the genocide and crimes taking place in Gaza and the violation of human laws and the desecration of sacred things is necessary to a large extent to awaken the conscience of ignorant people.
On the other hand, in the international arena, we are witnessing human awakening and uprising in the world regarding the issue of Palestine, and extensive demonstrations and marches in support of Palestine are held in countries such as America, Germany, etc. However, raising the Palestinian flag and chanting slogans in support of Palestine are prohibited in Makkah. In this regard, the Arabic section of the Mehr news agency conducted a press interview with “Sheikh Ahmad Mutab Al-Qatan”, one of the Sunni scholars of Lebanon and the head of the “Sakhn wa Amal Ma” group. You can read the text of this interview:
What do you see as the concerns of the Al Saud regime that forced it to ban anti-Zionist slogans in the Hajj ceremony? What is their purpose for this action and is the prayer of Muslims for the relief of the people of Gaza from these calamities and the victory of Islam and Muslims something that angers the Al Saud regime?
By banning the slogans of support for Palestine during the Hajj ceremony, especially the slogans of support for the oppressed people of the world, including Gaza, the Al Saud regime shows that it has declared solidarity with the American-Zionist enemy and cannot tell this enemy that it is oppressor or oppressed in Gaza or Palestine. to support For this reason, we strongly condemn this action.
As you know, the Al Saud regime prevents its citizens from protesting and demonstrating in support of Palestine, and anyone who publishes an article in cyberspace in support of the rights of the Palestinian nation and resistance to the Zionist occupation in the Gaza genocide will be severely punished. is condemned What is your opinion in this regard and is the Al Saud regime allowed to create such a restriction against Islamic nations?
Every action taken by this regime is not surprising. This regime not only prevents its citizens from anti-Zionist demonstrations, but if they publish even one article against the Zionist regime in cyberspace, they are severely punished. The Saudis know that this action means enmity with the Zionist regime, which is America’s main ally, while Riyadh is also one of America’s allies. The Saudi regime is an ally of the enemies of Islam and naturally cannot allow its own nation to condemn them. Of course, I do not consider the Arab and Islamic nations to be blameless in this regard, because they have the duty to take action to support the oppressed of Palestine.
What are the slogans that are banned in this year’s Hajj ceremony? Is this prohibition based on Sharia rules or does it contradict the spirit of Hajj and repentance to God? Did the Muslims enjoy the freedom of action in these ceremonies before Al Saud’s rule over the two Holy Places?
The issue of being acquitted of infidels and oppressors in Hajj is considered a necessary and undeniable action, because it means following the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). In my opinion, the Hajj Unification Conference should be used to examine the issues related to the Islamic Ummah, and what issue is more important and necessary than the issue of Palestine in the current situation? Is there more oppression in the whole world than the oppression of our brothers in Palestine? Genocides continue in Gaza, and we witness the martyrdom of more than 37,000 Palestinians and the wounding of more than 80,000 others, most of whom are women, children, and the elderly.
In this situation, what is expected from the Arab and Islamic nations? What should the Arabs do in this situation? It is obligatory for all of us to stand up and demand this issue from the Arab rulers. All Arab and Islamic nations must stand up to support the oppressed people of Palestine and Gaza. We have to support the Palestinian nation by organizing our marches and positions and everything we have, and this is part of our Shariah duty, because the Holy Prophet (PBUH) considered the Islamic society like a body, harming a part of it which causes the entire body to ache.
