Lebanon ceasefire and the repetition of the scenario of defeating the Zionist enemy.
According to the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, the ceasefire between Lebanon and the Zionist regime, which was reached after two months of repeated aggression by the Zionist regime and the steadfastness of the resistance fighters in the field, failed to achieve the goals of the war for the regime.
Although the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, Benjamin Netanyahu, is trying to present himself as the winner of this war by making some claims, including the freedom of action of the Zionist army inside Lebanon, the text of the agreement is completely contrary to this claim.
Hassan Fadlallah, a Lebanese parliament member from the Hezbollah faction, also stated in a televised speech that the draft that Amos Hochstein brought to Lebanon was adjusted in several stages and an agreement to stop hostile actions was reached in the first stage.
In this way, the Lebanese government succeeded in rejecting the goals that the Zionist regime was seeking, in light of the resistance of the Hezbollah forces in the field, and changing the content of the agreement that the Zionists were trying to impose in order to surrender Lebanon.
The Zionist enemy also failed to include England and Germany as two members of the committee monitoring the agreement process in this ceasefire, based on its goals. Rather, based on available information, the said committee consists only of the United States and France.
According to the report, the field realities gave the Lebanese government the opportunity to make the necessary amendments to the draft and not surrender to the enemy’s will. This also applies to the issue of creating a buffer zone in the border strip or trying to eliminate Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the Zionists were convinced that it was impossible to achieve this goal. Nevertheless, the Zionists are trying to pretend that they have won the war; and this is in a situation where developments on the ground indicate their defeat and prove that they have not achieved anything.
According to Al-Akhbar, the enemy tried to cover up its defeats by intensifying its attacks on the south, the Bekaa, and the southern suburbs of Beirut, and for this reason, last night, it targeted different areas with missile attacks on several occasions. In this regard, the resistance forces also increased their attacks on Zionist settlements and enemy military gatherings in Lebanon, and Hezbollah’s missiles and explosive drones even reached Tel Aviv and attacked and hit the residence of “Tomar Bar”, the commander of the Israeli army’s air force.
The Zionist enemy had previously pretended to target Hezbollah’s military and financial infrastructure, but the reality was that it was targeting civilians who were seeking to leave Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, and in this way it wanted to break their morale after two months of war in Lebanon, but it failed in this task.
