Letter from 11 news agencies to Netanyahu and El-Sisi for access to Gaza

PNN – The representatives of 11 news agencies have sent a letter to the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime and the President of Egypt, demanding access to Gaza.

According to Pakistan News Network, a coalition of 11 news agencies sent a letter to the leaders of the Zionist regime and Egypt on Monday, requesting journalists to access the Gaza Strip in order to cover the news of the war.

This letter states: “As the current crisis enters its sixth week, the need for journalists to document the realities on the ground is greater than ever — especially when so much information is being disseminated informally by cyberspace.”

This letter addressed to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Abdel Fattah al-Sisi was signed by CNN, BBC, New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Associated Press, AFP, CBS, ABC, ITV and Sky News.

The heads of this organization have stated in this letter: “While we have been able to see images and read narratives from inside Gaza, the only credible reports are from a group of brave journalists working there to document the events.”

This letter was sent while there are various reports about the targeted attack of the Zionist regime on the media in Palestine.

A few days ago, Danny Danon, the 17th Permanent Representative of Tel Aviv to the United Nations, threatened to kill those journalists who recorded the beginning of Hamas’s “Storm of Al-Aqsa” operation against Israeli positions.

Danon wrote in a threatening message on the “X” (former Twitter) social page: “Israel’s internal security organization announced that it will eliminate all participants in the October 7th massacre.”

On October 7th, the Islamic resistance movement of Palestine, Hamas, in response to more than seven decades of occupation of Palestine and nearly two decades of siege of Gaza and imprisonment and torture of thousands of Palestinians, started the operation known as “Al-Aqsa Storm”.

In response to this operation, the Zionist regime has launched heavy attacks against Gaza and placed this area under a complete siege. The attacks of the Zionist regime have led to the martyrdom of more than 11 thousand people.

Today, the Committee to Protect Journalists reported that this month has been the deadliest month for journalists since the committee began its activities in 1992.

The Committee to Protect Journalists reported that at least 40 journalists have been killed since October 7. 8 journalists were injured, 3 others are missing and 13 others have been arrested.

The Israeli army has already told Reuters and French news agencies that it is unable to provide security for journalists working in Gaza.

Today, the government’s information office in Gaza announced that the number of martyrs in Gaza has reached 11,240, of which 4,630 are children and 3,130 are women.

According to Al-Mayadeen network, the government information office in Gaza also announced the destruction of 94 government headquarters, 253 schools, 71 mosques and three churches in the attacks of the Zionist regime.
