PNN – The British Foreign Secretary criticized Israeli authorities for preventing two Labour Party members of parliament from entering the occupied territories and expelling them.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Guardian newspaper website quoted a statement from the Israeli Ministry of Immigration and Migration as saying: Yuan Yang and Abtisam Mohamed were banned from entering the country on suspicion of planning to “record and videotape the activities of security forces and spread hatred against Israelis.”
The Guardian wrote that the two representatives, along with their aides, flew from Luton to Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport.

Meanwhile, British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said in a statement: The arrest and denial of entry to two British representatives who were traveling to Israel as part of a parliamentary delegation is an unacceptable, damaging and deeply concerning act.
He added: I have told my counterparts in the Israeli government that this is not the way to treat British MPs. The British government’s focus is on returning to a ceasefire and negotiations to stop the bloodshed release the hostages and end the conflict in Gaza.
The Israeli army, in violation of the ceasefire, resumed its military aggression against the Gaza Strip, and according to the latest report from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, these attacks have so far resulted in the martyrdom of 1,309 Palestinian citizens and the injury of 3,184 others. The resumption of the Israeli aggression has been met with a wave of international condemnation.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced in its latest statistics on Saturday that 50,669 Palestinian citizens have been killed and 115,225 others have been injured as a result of the Israeli army’s attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
