PNN – While the British Foreign Secretary announced the cancellation of London’s free trade negotiations with Tel Aviv due to the regime’s continued crimes against the oppressed people of Gaza, London also summoned the Israeli ambassador for the same reason.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Anatoli Agency, British Foreign Secretary David Lammy announced on Tuesday, in response to the continued crimes of the occupiers of Jerusalem against the oppressed Palestinian people, that negotiations on a new trade agreement with the Zionist regime have been suspended.
The British Foreign Secretary said in this regard: The expansion of military operations (in Gaza) endangers the lives of prisoners. The continuation of Israel’s current policy in Gaza is not possible. Civilians in Gaza are facing hunger, displacement, new bombings, suffering and problems that are unprecedented. Prisoners remain in Gaza and the war has put them in great danger. The humanitarian disaster in Gaza has been rapidly escalating since the ceasefire was suspended two months ago, with Israel targeting hospitals and aid workers more frequently and with greater frequency than ever before.

Benjamin Netanyahu: Unable to change the opinion of the Zionist public.
David Lammy added: We are not standing idly by in the face of the worsening situation in the Gaza Strip and have suspended our negotiations with Israel on a free trade agreement. If Israel continues its course, we will consider other measures. I tell Netanyahu to end the siege now and allow humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. Also, expanding military operations will not lead to the release of prisoners, and negotiations are the only way to free them. Israel’s plan will never destroy Hamas and will not create security, and we consider Smotrich’s statements regarding ethnic cleansing in Gaza to be dangerous and barbaric extremism, which we strongly condemn. The two-state solution is the only way to achieve a just and lasting peace. We oppose the escalation of the war that has killed thousands of children in the Gaza Strip, and this cannot be considered a punishment for Hamas. Our imposition of certain sanctions against Israel is a message to them about the necessity of humanitarian aid entering the Gaza Strip that what is happening in this region is unjustifiable and must be stopped. We strongly condemn the statements of the two Israeli ministers, Ben-Gwer and Smotrich.
He added: We are coordinating with our partners on recognizing the state of Palestine and suspending the sale of weapons to Israel that could be used in Gaza. Preventing humanitarian aid from entering the Gaza Strip is a violation of international law and Israel’s actions must be stopped; we announce that we will take other measures if the war does not stop. There are reports that the US government is disappointed with Israel. We call for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and a return to diplomacy, and we will do everything we can to stop the war in the region. The acceleration of settlement construction in the West Bank coincides with the growth of settler violence. Our decision to suspend arms sales to Israel is serious. We are committed to taking further action if Israel expands its military operations in the Gaza Strip and prevents humanitarian aid from reaching the area.
Meanwhile, in response to the Zionist regime’s continued crimes in Gaza, the British government, in addition to suspending negotiations on a free trade agreement with the regime, also summoned its ambassador to provide explanations.
