PNN – A Zionist newspaper, referring to the escalating tension between Yisrael Katz and Eyal Zamir, wrote that this crisis is spreading and that there is no conceivable way out of it.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Mayadeen, the Zionist newspaper Ma’ariv wrote in a report today that the crisis between Israel’s Minister of Defense Yisrael Katz and Eyal Zamir, the Chief of Staff of the Army, and other army commanders is escalating, and there are no signs of a resolution to this crisis.
Referring to the escalation of tensions between the two sides, the newspaper wrote that Katz’s inclination towards new warmongering comes at a time when army commanders believe they must act decisively to prevent any war scenario that might again involve Israel.

The newspaper added that the disagreement between Zamir and Katz came to light after Zamir’s controversial speech at the David Ben-Gurion memorial service yesterday, in which he called for a courageous, decisive, and reality-changing leadership in the army, and that political leaders should admit their defeat.
According to the report, the escalation of the current crisis is occurring at a time when the Israeli army is facing increasing operational pressures on various fronts, which is exacerbating differences at the political and military levels.
Katz and Zamir clashed last Monday after the Israeli defense minister ordered a re-examination of the military’s internal investigation into Israeli defeats.
In this regard, Katz decided to suspend appointments to high-ranking military positions for 30 days, which Zamir considered political interference and harming the military’s readiness.
