According to Rashatoudi, French President Emmanuel Macron in a joint press conference with Xi Jinping, his Chinese counterpart in Paris, while referring to the continuation of providing aid to Kyiv, claimed that America and its allies are not looking for regime change in Russia!

Macron, who is hosting Xi Jinping at the Elysee Palace, asked the Chinese president to ensure that Beijing would not provide Moscow with useful aid in the war. Macron welcomed Beijing’s pledge not to sell arms or provide aid to Russia.

During this trip, Xi Jinping also met with Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission. Von Derlein said during the meeting that “more effort is needed to limit the delivery of dual-use goods to Russia that can be used in war” and at the same time claimed that this issue “overshadows EU-China relations.” he does not give.”

Macron also said: It is necessary to explain the importance of the impact of this war on European security and our determination to support Ukraine as long as needed. Of course, the West does not intend to change the regime in Moscow.

The head of the European Commission also called on Beijing to use all its influence on Russia to stop the war, and Macron further claimed that he wanted to “maintain a close dialogue.” He also welcomed Xi Jinping’s decision to visit France in line with what he called “the coordination of the positions of the two countries on the eve of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to China in May.”

Macron added: “Meeting with the President of China provides the possibility of pursuing a common agenda and clarifies the duty of intent to establish lasting peace.”

In this meeting, Jinping criticized the West for distorting China’s image in the Ukraine war and said: that China did not create the Ukraine crisis and is not a party to this war. We do not accept that the Ukraine crisis is used to blame others, tarnish the image of third countries, and start a new cold war. As history has repeatedly shown, wars can always be resolved through negotiation. Beijing has always played a positive role in establishing peace.
