Macron rejected resignation requests: I will remain in the presidency until 2027

PNN – Emmanuel Macron announced that he will remain as the President of France until May 2027 and will make “changes” in the way the country is run.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the French news agency, France’s extreme right-wing parties recently increased their seats in the European Parliament elections, and it is expected that they will deal a fatal blow to Macron’s “Renaissance” party in the upcoming parliamentary elections in this country.

The far-right party “National Assembly” demanded Macron’s resignation, but in an open letter in the French media, he rejected this request and emphasized to the voters: The situation cannot continue as it is. I heard you want a change.

He added: Be sure that until May 2027, I will be your president, the guardian of the republic and our values, and I will respect your pluralism and choices, and I will serve you and the country.

After the victory of the extreme right in the European Parliament elections, Macron announced the dissolution of the French Parliament and early elections. The first round of the French parliamentary elections will be held on June 30 and the second round on July 7.

The results of 2 new polls show that the far-right party of the National Assembly will get 35-36% of the votes, the left-wing coalition will get 27-29.5% of the votes, and the moderates affiliated with Macron will get 19.5-22%.

This will be the best result that the National Assembly has achieved so far in the parliamentary elections. Hence, this party can nominate the future prime minister of France. In this case, probably Jordan Bardella, the young leader of this party, will be the prime ministerial candidate.
