PNN – The President of France announced at the conference in support of Ukraine in Paris: “Western countries have no intention of going to war with the Russian people and will prevent the escalation of tensions in Ukraine.”
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the French president announced in a meeting: “Western countries do not intend to go to war with the Russian people, but rather seek to prevent the escalation of tension in Ukraine.”
“We all agree that we don’t want to go to war with the Russian people,” French President Emmanuel Macron said Monday during the opening of a conference in support of Ukraine in Paris, Russian news agency Elium reported on Monday.

“We seek to commit to deterrence against escalation, as we have successfully done since the beginning of the conflict,” he noted.
It should be mentioned that France is hosting the conference of the countries supporting Ukraine, in which German Chancellor Olaf Schultz, Polish President Andriy Duda and the heads of governments of about 20 European Union countries will participate.
James O’Brien, US Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs, and David Cameron, British Foreign Secretary, will attend this conference.
Agence France-Presse reported earlier, quoting its sources, that no new military aid to Ukraine is expected to be announced at the end of the meeting.
