PNN – The Venezuelan president referred to the country’s ties with Russia in the wake of the US’s belligerent threats.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Rossiya El-Youm, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said in a television interview in response to the increasing US threats against the country: We are in daily contact with the Russian government on all issues.

He added: Our relationship with Russia covers all major areas, from industry and technology to economics and military issues. This cooperation is based on respect and mutual benefit.
Maduro emphasized that Russia is a great global power and at the same time can establish respectful relations with countries, including Venezuela.
Regarding the Russian Foreign Ministry’s statement that Moscow is ready to respond to Caracas’ requests in light of the current threats, he said: This is true. It should be like this: peace, trust, and brotherhood.
