The former Malaysian Prime Minister wrote on the social network X on Friday: 70,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israel in Gaza. They (the Israelis) are killing even during the ceasefire. What monsters these Israelis are. They are worse than animals.

He added: They have now blocked the supply of medicine and food to Gaza. Even doctors are being prevented from entering Gaza to examine the sick and wounded in hospitals that have been destroyed by Israeli atrocities.

Mahathir Mohamad continued: The world is watching all this but doing nothing because America is actively protecting these Israeli atrocities.

The former Malaysian Prime Minister stated: Humanity cannot claim to be civilized. We have fallen to the lowest level of barbarity. We see sheer injustice, massacre, and endless killing, but we do nothing.

Mahathir Mohamad, 100, served as Malaysia’s prime minister for 22 years until 2003. He won a historic victory in 2018 after leading an opposition coalition, but his government collapsed in less than two years due to internal disputes.

This comes after the outbreak of the Gaza War in October 2023, with clashes between Palestinian resistance groups and Israeli forces in the West Bank increasing, with reports of more than a thousand martyrs, thousands injured, and tens of thousands of Palestinians living in the area being detained by the Israeli regime.
