Mahathir Mohamad: US threatens opposition with genocide in Gaza.

According to Anadolu Agency, on the occasion of his 100th birthday, former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad strongly criticized the West and the US approach to the Zionist regime’s attacks on Gaza, saying, “The US is threatening to take action against anyone who tries to stop the genocide in Gaza. This is a sign of the collapse of Western civilization.”

Mahathir Mohamad emphasized, “Naturally, when you face a great injustice like genocide, action must be taken, but since a power like the US is behind this genocide, there is nothing anyone can do.”

Referring to the fading of moral values among the leaders of Western countries, the former Malaysian Prime Minister said that they are now displaying “basic behaviors” and that the US is never a model of human rights and philanthropy for the world.

Mahathir also criticized the Organization of Islamic Cooperation for its inability to take effective action on the Palestinian issue, adding, “Until there is complete agreement among members, the organization cannot do anything and there will always be differences of opinion, even when the issue of the Israeli regime is raised.”
