Mahmoud Qamati at Hezbollah protest rally: Our patience has a limit.

Mahmoud Qamati at Hezbollah protest rally: Our patience has a limit.

Mahmoud Qamati, the deputy head of the Lebanese Hezbollah Executive Council, said in a speech to the large crowd participating in the protest rally on the airport road: We do not accept that the country is under the control of America and Israel. We do not accept this humiliation. We are patient, but our patience has a limit.

While praising the public’s participation in Hezbollah’s call, he added: Peace be upon this sincere crowd and our slogan is the same historical slogan: Heyhat Mina Al-Dha’la. This government will not be allowed to give in to the dictates of Israel and America. We have sacrificed to preserve our dignity and give this country real sovereignty.

Qamati emphasized: The decision to prevent the plane from landing at Beirut airport is an insult to the government and security services because it is giving in to the dictates of America and Israel.

Addressing the Lebanese officials, he said: You want to strain, but the resistance will not give in to the dictates and will resist and oppose the humiliating actions and dictates of America and Israel. Preventing Iranian planes from landing at Beirut airport is an insult to Lebanon and a sign of American dictates to the government. We will not submit to dictates and Iran is a friendly country.

At the same time, Al-Mayadeen reporter announced that the Lebanese army used tear gas during Mahmoud Qamati’s speech.

Al-Arabi channel also mentioned the Lebanese army’s attack on the protesters.
