Majority of American voters oppose Washington’s foreign military aid.

The American website Hill wrote: The Pew Research Center survey showed that most adults participating in the survey (83 percent) support the US government’s medical and pharmaceutical aid to other countries, and 78 percent support food and clothing aid to developing countries.

The results showed that 60 percent of Americans support economic development, 63 percent support aid to developing countries, and 61 percent support strengthening democracy in other countries.

The results showed that military aid and the allocation of funds to support cultural and artistic activities are not very supported by American voters, with only 39 percent saying they think the US should provide military aid and support to other countries.

A third of the participants in the survey, or only 34 percent of them, agreed with the idea of supporting American cultural and artistic activities in other countries.

The Pew survey was conducted following US President Donald Trump’s decision to cut foreign aid programs, including assistance from the USAID. The White House also released a budget proposal on Friday that includes a huge cut in US foreign aid.

The poll found that Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents were more likely to support sending foreign aid than Republicans and Republican-leaning voters.

A majority of Republican respondents, 77 percent, said the United States should provide medicine and medical equipment to developing countries. Food and clothing support was not as strong, but 68 percent of Republicans still supported it, the poll found.

The results showed that only 30 percent of Republican voters supported U.S. military equipment for other countries, compared to 51 percent for Democrats. Support for arts and cultural activities was less popular among Republican voters, at just 15 percent.

The Pew poll of 3,605 American adults was conducted between March 24 and 30, with a margin of error of 1.9 percentage points.
