Malaysia criticizes the US dual policies towards the Palestinian issue.

Anwar Ibrahim said at the meeting where the peace agreement between the leaders of Thailand and Cambodia was signed in the presence of US President Donald Trump: The United States must remain focused and work to achieve the comprehensive and sustainable peace that the international community expects.

Addressing Trump, he added: “I am really happy to hear from you how determined you are to achieve peace in the most difficult areas, which are almost impossible, but you did it.”

Anwar Ibrahim continued his remarks by firmly urging Trump to adhere to his commitment to advance peace efforts in conflict-affected areas around the world, including the Gaza Strip.

These statements were made while the Zionist regime has repeatedly violated the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip under various pretexts, and the Malaysian Prime Minister, as the regional chair of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), criticized the Tel Aviv regime’s violation of the ceasefire at the 47th ASEAN summit, which is hosting various heads of state, including the United States, from today (Sunday) to November 25.
