Malaysia reiterates the need for an arms embargo on the Israeli regime.
According to Al Jazeera, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who is currently in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, called for an immediate arms embargo on the Zionist regime due to the bloody war in Gaza and Lebanon.
Accordingly, he said: “To end the more than one year of genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, we must immediately impose an arms embargo on Israel. We condemn the actions of the Zionists in Gaza.”
Referring to the ban on the activities of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Anwar Ibrahim stated: “Governments must have unwavering support for UNRWA’s vital role in supporting the Palestinians.”
The Malaysian Prime Minister noted: “Decisive action must be taken to end Israel’s blatant and uncontrollable aggression, including attacks on Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, and Syria.”
He concluded by condemning the Israeli army’s attack on the UN peacekeeping forces in Lebanon, known as UNIFIL.
