Malaysia’s support for bringing the Zionist regime to The Hague Court

PNN – The Malaysian government welcomed and supported South Africa’s recent complaint against the Zionist regime in The Hague Court of Justice.

According to the International group of Pakistan News Network, the government of Malaysia welcomed South Africa’s complaint against the Zionist regime in the International Court of Justice in The Hague on charges of violating the Genocide Convention, and considered this complaint a “tangible step” in order to make this regime accountable for its crimes.

According to “Anatolia” news agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia announced in a statement: “South Africa’s recent legal action against Israel is a concrete and timely step towards making Israel legally accountable for its crimes in Gaza and the entire occupied Palestinian territories.”

Last week, South Africa filed a petition with the International Court of Justice in The Hague, and initiated the case against the Zionist regime in this court.

As stated by this court, the subject of this petition is to deal with the accusations of the Zionist regime in “violation of its obligations under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide in relation to the Palestinians of the Gaza Strip”.

The South African government announced: “Israel has been involved in acts related to genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza and there is a risk that it will continue to be involved in these acts.”

South Africa has accused the Zionist regime of violating the 1948 UN Genocide Convention with its attacks in the Gaza Strip since October 7 and demanded temporary measures against this regime.

In response, the Zionist regime claimed that it condemns South Africa for filing a complaint about its crimes, and on Tuesday, it decided to appear in front of The Hague wall and “defend” itself in the case of the crime of genocide.

Malaysia, which has taken a position in support of the formation of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, called on the Zionist regime to fulfill its duties according to international laws and immediately end its crimes against the Palestinians.

The Malaysian government has implemented measures under the leadership of Anwar Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of this country, in support of Palestine, including last month, banning any ships with the Israeli flag from entering Malaysian ports.

Last Saturday, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation interviewed South Africa’s complaint against the Zionist regime at The Hague Court.

This organization asked The Hague Tribunal to “quickly respond to this complaint and take immediate steps to stop this mass genocide committed by the Israeli military in the occupied Palestinian territories.”

Following the complaint, Tel Aviv responded to South Africa’s action in a statement, claiming that South Africa’s complaint had no “legal basis”.

The Foreign Ministry of the Zionist regime claimed: “South Africa cooperates with a terrorist group that wants to destroy Israel.”

Despite the fact that according to the latest statistics announced by the Gaza Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinian martyrs in the attacks of the Israeli army has exceeded 22 thousand 100 people, the majority of whom are women and children, but the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Zionist regime claimed: “The people of Gaza are not enemies of Israel. “Israel is trying to prevent harm to civilians.”

The South African parliament voted to suspend diplomatic relations with the Israeli regime on November 30. South African representatives, with 248 votes in favor against 91 votes against, demanded the closure of the Zionist regime’s embassy in Pretoria and the suspension of all diplomatic relations with this regime until a ceasefire is established in Gaza.
