Man arrested in US for shining laser at Trump helicopter

PNN – The Associated Press, citing legal documents, reported that a person has been arrested for shining a laser at the helicopter carrying the US President.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Associated Press has arrested a man accused of shining a laser at US President Donald Trump’s helicopter, known as “Marine One.”

According to the media outlet, Jacob Samuel Winkler, 33, of Washington, D.C., has been charged with shining a laser at the helicopter, a crime that carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison if convicted.

The Associated Press reported that a US Secret Service patrol agent spotted Winkler naked and walking on the sidewalk while the president’s helicopter was flying near the White House. After shining a laser in his face, the man pointed it at the helicopter and repeatedly apologized to Trump after being arrested.
