PNN – The Israeli army targeted two more Palestinian journalists in Gaza today. In this way, the number of journalist martyrs in this war reached 109 people.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Zionist regime (Sunday, January 7) targeted the car carrying two journalists and caused their martyrdom.
“Hamzeh Wael Al-Dahdouh” reporter of Al-Jazeera and “Mustafa Soraya” of Azad reporter, were attacked by the invaders today in the West of Khanyounes, and thus the number of martyred journalists of the Gaza war reached 109 people. Hamzah is the son of “Wael al-Dahdouh” reporter of Al Jazeera, who lost his wife, two children and grandson in the bombing of the Gaza strip.
The son of this famous Al Jazeera reporter, in his last post on the virtual page before martyrdom, published a photo of his father and wrote: “My father, don’t despair and don’t despair of God’s mercy and be sure that God will give you a good reward for your patience.”
The Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip issued a statement condoling the martyrdom of these two Palestinian journalists and condemned this “intentional crime” by the Zionist regime as an attempt to intimidate the journalists who are covering the war in Gaza. Hamas called on all journalistic, media and legal unions to put pressure on the occupying regime to stop the genocide in Gaza while condemning this crime.
Wael Al-Dahdouh, who lost two children and six members of his family in the bombing of his house in the first month of the war, said while crying while saying goodbye to his children: “These are tears of humanity, not tears of cowardice and collapse… Let the occupation fail. They will take revenge on us from the children!” (Referring to the Israeli army) … We belong to God and to Him we return.”
Today, following the martyrdom of these two Palestinian journalists, the Hamas movement also issued a statement and described it as another deliberate war crime by the Zionist regime, with the aim of creating terror and discouraging journalists from reporting the truth and covering their crimes.
