Mass demonstrations in Yemen’s Saada in defense of Gaza.
The city of Saada, Yemen, today, at the invitation of Seyyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi, is witnessing a massive demonstration in support of the people of Gaza and taking a stand against the US naval coalition.
Today (Friday), Yemenis are demonstrating in condemnation of the Zionist regime’s crime in Gaza and announcing their position against the American coalition in the Red Sea. Demonstrations in some cities, including Saada, have started this morning, and others, such as Sana’a, are scheduled to be held in the afternoon.
According to the Al-Masira website, tens of thousands of people came to the streets in Saada today and chanted in support of the Yemeni armed forces in preventing the passage of Israeli ships or ships destined for occupied Palestinian ports.
Demonstrations in other cities will be held today with the slogan “blood of the freedmen on the path to victory” and at the invitation of Seyyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi, after Friday prayers or today’s evening. Mass demonstrations in Sana’a are also scheduled to begin in “Sabain” square this afternoon.
Yesterday, the leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah invited the entire Yemeni people to participate in the solidarity march with the Palestinian people. Abdul Malik al-Houthi emphasized that the US committed “stupidity” by targeting a group of the Yemeni navy during its mission. He stated that this criminal attack will not go unanswered.
The Central Command of the US Army in West Asia (CENTCOM) recently announced in a statement that it engaged with Yemeni forces in the Red Sea and killed 10 Yemeni soldiers.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces, emphasized following the Centcom statement that the United States should accept the responsibility of martyring the Yemeni naval forces and that its actions will not prevent the Yemeni forces from fulfilling their religious and moral duty towards Palestine.
In support of the Palestinian people, the Yemeni army had previously announced in a statement that it would not allow any Israeli ships and ships destined for the occupied Palestinian territories to pass through the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Red Sea.
Yemen’s official news agency reported, quoting the leader of Ansarullah, that the Yemeni Front is active against the Zionists; From ballistic and cruise missiles to drones and actions taken against their maritime economy and trade.
