PNN – An Iraqi source announced the withdrawal of a large number of American forces, along with military equipment and weapons, from Syria and their deployment at the Ain al-Assad base in western Iraq.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Ma’uluma News Agency, a security source in Anbar province in western Iraq announced the withdrawal of a large number of American soldiers from Syria and their deployment at the Ain Al-Assad base in Anbar.
The source said: A large number of American forces have evacuated one of their bases deep in Syria and are stationed at the Ain al-Assad base in the al-Baghdadi district in the Hit region in western Anbar, Iraq.

The source clarified: There are no further details available about the reasons for the withdrawal and deployment of these forces in Ain al-Assad.
The Iraqi source said: This military column includes military armored vehicles and military equipment, along with soldiers and light and heavy weapons.
The source emphasized: At the same time as this large military column of the US army left Syria, the country’s air force provided air cover for this military column. Also, unprecedented security measures were implemented on the main and secondary roads leading to the Ain al-Assad base.
The source stated: The Ain al-Assad base has recently witnessed extensive movements of American forces, and troops and military equipment have been transferred to this base by air from Baghdad, the Northern provinces, and Kuwait.
