PNN – Following Hezbollah’s widespread drone and missile strikes in border areas, Hebrew media are reporting a “silent migration” of residents of settlements in the north of the occupied territories to hotels in southern Israel and the Dead Sea.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, The Zionist network i24NEWS announced that the wave of displacement in the northern settlements and distrust in Netanyahu’s cabinet have increased amid the spread of rocket attacks from Lebanon, and there are concerns about the collapse of civilian life on the borders.

The Israeli network added that, given the renewed escalation of tensions with Hezbollah and the return of barrages of missiles and drones to the front lines, there is deep anger and concern in the border settlements in the north, from Upper Galilee to Western Galilee.

According to the network, Hezbollah’s escalation of military actions has brought back something like a “silent migration” of the residents of these settlements to hotels in southern Israel and the Dead Sea, and the settlers are trying to escape the security reality that is becoming more dangerous and uncertain every day.

The Zionist network reported that during a field visit to the settlements of Kiryat Shmona and Shlomi, the residents’ angry reactions to the renewed rocket fire were clearly evident, contrary to the official Israeli narrative that Hezbollah was retreating and that the October 7 scenario would not be repeated.

The mayor of the Israeli town of Margliot, located near the Lebanese border, sharply criticized the failure of the Netanyahu cabinet to confront Hezbollah, with tears in his eyes, as a result of Hezbollah’s crushing blows and the displacement of thousands of Zionists.

Davidi stated: How many wars?! We fight for Israel, but no one, no cabinet, supports us. You destroyed Kiryat Shmona, you destroyed all the border settlements, you destroyed everything.

He said: What are you doing? What are you doing? Either say you can’t handle this and leave us, or do what needs to be done now.
