PNN – Russia’s deputy head of the Security Council described the European Union summit on Russian assets as a “summit of thieves.”
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Sputnik, Dmitry Medvedev, Russia’s deputy head of the Security Council, described the EU leaders’ summit on Russian assets as a “summit of thieves.”

He added that Europe has not abandoned its plans to steal Russian assets, but has temporarily remained “silent” on the issue.
Meanwhile, Kirill Dmitriev, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s special envoy for investment and economic cooperation, said on Friday that law and reason had prevailed after EU leaders decided to finance Ukraine through borrowing rather than using frozen Russian assets.
Dmitriev wrote on X: A major blow to the EU warmongers led by the defeated Ursula [von der Leyen] — the voices of reason in the EU prevented the illegal use of Russian assets to finance Ukraine.
