PNN – Youssef Al-Saadoun, a member of the Saudi Parliament, said in response to the US President’s controversial plan to move Palestinians living in Gaza outside of this barrier: The main goal of Donald Trump’s plan is to create a media controversy that Israel (regime) uses to divert public attention.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network from Saudi Arabia’s WAS news agency, Al-Saadoun added: If Trump wants to be a champion of peace and bring stability and prosperity to the Middle East, he better move his Israeli friends first to Alaska and then to Greenland after it is annexed by the United States.
The member of the Saudi parliament continued: Anyone who has followed the formation and continuation of Israel’s (regime) knows very well that this plan was undoubtedly prepared and approved by the Zionist regime and was only handed over to their ally in the White House for reading.
He said: This plan was developed with the aim of changing the global discourse from condemnation and asking to stop aggression and occupation to examining options and alternatives.
Al-Saadoun added: (The regime) Israel plans to use this plan as a negotiating paper to normalize relations with Saudi Arabia.
In a joint letter to the US government, five Arab countries and the senior official of the Palestinian Authority opposed Trump’s plan to transfer the residents of Gaza to Egypt and Jordan.

According to Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed, the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Egypt and Jordan and “Hussein Al-Sheikh”, the advisor to the head of the Palestinian Authority, have sent this letter as “Axios” announced the news. These foreign ministers gathered in Cairo at the beginning of the week (Monday).
The foreign ministers of the Arab countries, together with the senior Palestinian official, sent a joint letter to the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, in which they expressed their opposition to the plan to relocate Palestinians from Gaza, which was proposed by US President Donald Trump.
In the joint letter of the foreign ministers of these countries and the senior Palestinian official, it is stated: The reconstruction of Gaza must be done through the direct participation of the people of Gaza, and the Palestinians will live in their lands and help in its reconstruction. They should not be pushed out of their lands during reconstruction and they should actively participate in the reconstruction process with the support of the international community.
The President of the United States previously called for the complete evacuation of the Gaza Strip and the resettlement of Palestinians in neighboring Arab countries.
Referring to the lack of living conditions in Gaza due to extensive destruction, he asked Egypt and Jordan to accept and settle the people of Gaza and reduce the problems of this area through the relocation of residents.
Trump also asked the leaders of Egypt and Jordan in a commanding tone to cooperate to implement this plan.
However, this proposal was strongly opposed by the neighboring countries.
The officials of these countries emphasized that they are against the permanent displacement of the Palestinian people and their forced migration out of their land.
