Middle East Eye: Riyadh removes normalization of relations with Israel from agenda.
Saudi Arabia has set a basic principle for Washington ahead of US President Donald Trump’s visit to the country: talk of normalising relations with Israel must be completely off the agenda, Middle East Eye has reported.
That was the message delivered by Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud during his visit to Washington DC last month to plan Trump’s visit to Riyadh and in connection with subsequent discussions between senior officials from the two countries, Middle East Eye reported.
According to Palestinian officials, the Saudi crown prince has openly accused the Israeli regime of committing genocide in Gaza and has referred to his people’s anger at the Israeli attack on the territory, which has killed more than 52,000 people, including women and children.
