PNN – Middle East Eye reported, citing informed sources that the US President’s special envoy for regional affairs wants to resign from the Trump administration.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Middle East Eye, informed sources reported that Steve Witkoff, US President Donald Trump’s special envoy for the region, is expected to resign from the current US administration to refocus on his business.

Middle East Eye reported that two sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the matter, said that Witkoff plans to leave the government to refocus on his business after a “draining” schedule of back-and-forth diplomacy in the Middle East.
This is despite Trump praising the Witkoff negotiations in his speech to the Knesset (Israeli parliament) on Monday.
It was previously reported that Trump had asked Witkoff on Monday to now focus on resolving the Ukraine conflict.
