Middle East Monitor: The Palestinian resistance to freedom continues in full force

PNN – “Middle East Monitor” has considered the events of the past one year in Palestine as an example of the failure of the Zionist regime and stated that the Palestinians are not yet hopeless and will persevere until they achieve freedom.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, this analytical news website in its report entitled “Overview of one year of Palestine: Genocide, resistance and unanswered questions” has mentioned: A year of Israel’s brutal and genocidal war in Gaza could not end the conflict.

Genocide, resistance and unanswered questions” has mentioned: A year of Israel’s brutal and genocidal war in Gaza could not end the conflict.

On the contrary, the year 2024 ended as it had begun, with intense fighting on all fronts, and Bethlehem, the city that was supposed to be “captured,” remained at the forefront of the struggle. Bethlehem is a small symbol of the defeat of Israel’s war in the Gaza Strip; A bloody war that has not reached any results despite widespread destruction, ethnic cleansing, hunger and genocide. Every day of this terrible war is a reminder that there is no military solution to this conflict and that the will of the Palestinians is unbreakable at any cost.

Middle East Monitor emphasizes: Despite this, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is still not satisfied. He began the year with promises of “total victory” but ended it as a criminal wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC).

In another part of this report, it is stated that since the first days of the war, the Zionist regime targeted all aspects of life in the Gaza Strip for the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians. This included hospitals, bakeries, markets, power grids, and water stations, and in this regard, Gaza’s hospitals in particular received a greater share of Israeli attacks.

According to the above report, the regime’s disillusionment with the war trends gradually increased, and even its desperate attempt to control the global narrative about the Gaza genocide largely failed.

On July 19, after hearing testimony from more than 50 countries, the International Court of Justice issued a historic ruling that “Israel’s continued presence in the occupied Palestinian territories is illegal.” This ruling, which expressed the international consensus on the matter, became a UN General Assembly resolution on September 17 that “calls for an end to Israel’s occupation of Palestine within the next 12 months.”

The report added: All this meant in practice that Israel’s attempt to normalize the occupation of Palestine and its move to illegally annex the West Bank was deemed ineffective by the international community. However, Israel persisted and increased its anger against Palestinians in the West Bank, who also experienced one of the worst massacres in Israel in many years.

The report at the end of the historic verdict of November 21 of the International Criminal Court regarding the arrest of Netanyahu and his Defense Minister Yoav Galant was a light of hope, albeit weak, which showed that the world may be ready to hold the Zionist regime accountable for its many crimes.

Middle East Monitor stated at the end: The year 2025 can be the turning point in reality. However, as far as the Palestinians are concerned, even with the failure of the international community to stop the genocide and hold Israel accountable, their perseverance will remain strong until freedom is finally achieved.
