Military Affairs Expert: Abu Ubaidah’s rhetoric established a distinct school of thought.

According to the Shahab news agency, military affairs expert Rami Abu Zubaydah stated that the announcement of the martyrdom of several Palestinian resistance commanders, including Hudhaifa Al-Kahlut (Abu Ubaydah), and the introduction of a new spokesman is a very important symbolic and military milestone and confirms that the Palestinian resistance operates based on an “organizational” logic, not an individualistic one.

He added: “The disclosure of Abu Ubaydah’s identity after his martyrdom sends a clear message; the man who led the war in the field of awareness for years was not simply a media figure, but a field commander who continued his battle until the end and left behind a complete school of thought in the art of expression and influence.”

He stated: “Transferring the title of Abu Ubaydah to the new spokesman of the Al-Qassam Brigades is like giving identity to this title and deliberately dismantling individual symbolism.” This effectively strips the policy of terror of its strategic content and emphasizes that targeting individuals does not silence voices or break will.

Abu Zubaydah emphasized: “The presence of a new spokesperson, with the same tone and messages, indicates the continuity of a clear structure in the Qassam Brigades’ command and control system and a high degree of organizational flexibility that has enabled the movement to maintain its media effectiveness despite the intensity of the attacks.”

He added: “The recent speech contained focused political and field messages, the most important of which was the emphasis on solidarity with the popular base in Gaza and the description of the ceasefire, if realized, as the fruit of perseverance. At the same time, it emphasized the ongoing right to respond and showed that the resistance does not speak from a position of weakness or defeat.”

The military expert emphasized: “This development once again exposed Israel’s intelligence failure, because the occupiers were content to end the masked man phenomenon by assassinating the official Qassam spokesman; But with the return of this symbol as an idea that transcends individuals, they were surprised, and thus the psychological battle was returned to zero.

Abu Zubaydah noted that the ability of the Al-Qassam Brigades to produce an organized media narrative in the face of the widespread attacks of the Zionist regime emphasizes that its structure is not a hierarchy that collapses when the top of the pyramid is targeted, but rather a flexible structure that can replace commanders without creating a vacuum.

He clarified: “Thought cannot be assassinated, and a resistance that builds its symbols on meaning, not image, is a resistance that can endure. The new Abu Ubaydah is not just a replacement, but a clear declaration of the failure of the Israeli project and the survival of the word resistance and the continued effectiveness of the message of resistance despite martyrdom and destruction.”

The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic resistance movement Hamas, announced yesterday in a statement that a number of its prominent commanders and fighters had been martyred.

In this statement, Al-Qassam announced the martyrdom of its spokesman, Abu Ubaydah, and announced that a new spokesman for the organization had been introduced.

Al-Qassam also announced that the organization’s new spokesman had been introduced with the same media name as Abu Ubaydah; in his first statements, the new spokesman said: “October 7th was a loud explosion against oppression, pressure, and siege.”
