PNN – A researcher and former member of the Israeli Knesset (parliament) warned about the consequences of the war against the Gaza Strip, emphasizing that military pressure will not lead to the release of Zionist prisoners and that the purpose of restarting the war is to keep Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in power.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the Palestinian news agency “Shehab”, Ofer Shalih, a researcher at the Institute for Security Studies and a former member of the Knesset, said that continuing the war against Gaza would cause catastrophic damage to the structure of the Zionist masses and the army.

He said: The claim that military pressure alone will lead to the release of (Zionist) prisoners in the Gaza Strip is not logical; we have heard the words of the released prisoners about their conditions and circumstances in captivity, and we know that some of them lost their lives as a result of Israeli military operations.
The Israeli army resumed its military aggression against the Gaza Strip on Tuesday morning, violating the terms of the ceasefire, which has so far resulted in the martyrdom of 710 Palestinian citizens and the injury of 900 others. The resumption of the Israeli aggression has been met with a wave of international condemnation.
These attacks on the Gaza Strip have also sparked protests within the occupied territories, and angry Zionists demonstrated yesterday in occupied Jerusalem to protest the policies of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and demanded an agreement with the Hamas movement to release the remaining Zionist prisoners in the Gaza Strip.
