Moqtada Sadr’s reaction to Trump’s assassination “Maybe it’s a movie.”
According to the Baghdad Al-Youm website, Moqtadi Sadr, the leader of the Sadr movement, wrote on X social network: We must learn from everything that happens in this small world of ours! Especially from what happened in the United States of America. From the struggle for power and the deviation of democracy and elections from their peaceful path! Also, from the attempt to assassinate the former president of the United States and their current presidential candidate!
Moqtada Sadr further wrote: This assassination incident, regardless of whether it is real or a part of a pre-designed propaganda film, shows America and its claims of being a superpower or a defender of democracy or the first supporter of democracy or a promoter of peace and opposed to violence. All of them are false, lies and claims that are not true. This event has a clear message for Westernized youth who think that Westerners are supporters of peace and supporters of democracy or freedom!
Sadr added: Therefore, the supporters of the West and those who want freedom should learn a lesson and look at it fairly and know that all the actions of the West are lies and have no credibility and transparency. This assassination incident is nothing but a series of undeniable proofs of the West playing with the brains of the Arab and Islamic youth and the so-called Third World countries.
