Moroccans in 30 cities protest Israel ties.
According to the Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed news agency, the Moroccan demonstrators also condemned the ongoing crimes of the Zionist regime in the besieged Gaza Strip.
The demonstration was held last night at the invitation of the “National Front for Support of Palestine and Opposition to the Normalization of Relations”, a non-governmental organization in Morocco.
The participants in the demonstration, which was held simultaneously in 30 Moroccan cities, emphasized their absolute opposition to the agreement to normalize relations between Arab governments and the Zionist regime, and said: This agreement further encouraged the Zionist regime to shed the blood of the people of Gaza and to besiege them.
In their demonstration, which was held on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, they called for the closure of the Zionist regime’s liaison office in the Moroccan city of Rabat.
According to this report, a new wave of demonstrations by the Moroccan people against the aggression of the Israeli regime has resumed since March 18, 2025 (Esfand 28, 1403). Since the beginning of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, expressions of solidarity with Palestine have continued unabated, with various demonstrations and ceremonies held almost daily across the Maghreb, as people shout support for the resistance and opposition to normalization of relations.
The Zionist regime launched the war against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, with two main goals: to destroy the Hamas movement and return the Zionist prisoners from this region. It carried out massacres but failed to achieve these goals, and was forced to reach an agreement with the Hamas movement to exchange prisoners.
On Thursday, the Hamas movement officially announced the achievement of an agreement to end the war in the Gaza Strip and exchange prisoners.
The Israeli army also officially announced the implementation of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on Friday afternoon, October 18 and announced: “According to the agreement, Israeli forces will remain stationed in certain areas of the Gaza Strip, and movement from the south to the north of the Gaza Strip will be permitted via Al-Rashid Street and Salahuddin Road.”
This is while the Zionist regime continues to obstruct the implementation of the provisions of the first phase of the ceasefire and its repeated violations.
