Morocco’s arms deal with the Zionist regime amid the Gaza war.
The Israeli TV channel 12 reported that Morocco has begun negotiations with the El-Bait arms company to install new machine guns on new personnel carriers purchased from India.
According to the Hebrew-language media outlet, the Israeli company El-Bait has now become the most prominent supplier of 105 and 120 mm machine guns that are mounted on the turrets of tanks and armored personnel carriers purchased by Morocco from the Indian company Tata, and this contract is to be completed within the framework of the Abraham Accords.
Another part of the report states that the Moroccan army has begun contacts with the Al-Bayt company to supply machine guns in this way.
Israel’s Channel 12 TV also reported that since the signing of the Abraham Accords, Morocco has become a regular customer of the Israeli military industry, so much so that in July 2024 (at the height of the war against the Gaza Strip), Morocco signed a contract worth one billion dollars with the Israel Aerospace Industries Company for satellite ground.
According to this contract, which was also disclosed by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, Morocco will purchase two Horizon 13 satellites from Israel by paying this amount over 5 years.
